先日竣工写真の写真集をお届けに、竣工して３ヶ月ほどのお家に伺いました。

アートが飾られていたり、クッションが増えていたり、新しく生まれ変わったお家で楽しく暮らしている様子が伝わってきました。

お家で過ごす時間も増えたそうです。

お家が完成した後のお施主さまの暮らしぶりを知れるのは嬉しいですね。

写真集のプレゼントもとても喜んでいただけて、私も嬉しい気持ちになりました。

 

さて、今回はレビューのご紹介第２回目です。

お施主さまは海外の方なのですが、日本語に翻訳して送ってくださいました。

『私たちはとても運良く、TAIMATSUというとても親切なチームに出会い、日本での家づくりをサポートしてもらえました。MuneさんとShinpeiさんには、この素晴らしいプロセスを一緒に進めていただいたことに感謝しています。私たちが建築家を探し始めたとき、最も重要視していたのは、私たちと同じビジョンを共有し、円滑にコミュニケーションできることでした。日本語があまり得意ではない私たちですが、英語を通じて十分に意思疎通ができ、TAIMATSUのチームのおかげでスムーズに進めることができました。彼らは細部にまで気を配り、段階的にプロセスを進めてくれたので、私たちの初めての家を日本で建てるという明確なビジョンを持つことができました。

特に気に入った点は以下の通りです：
ワークスペースと生活空間の最大限の活用：私たちは自宅で仕事をすることが多いため、スペースを最大限に活用したいと考えていました。結果的に、仕事と生活をシームレスに結びつけるオープンプランのデザインにしました。広々としたオープンキッチンはリビングとダイニングエリアに繋がっており、家全体が一つに繋がっている感覚で、どの空間にもアクセスしやすくなっています。

快適で光に満ちた空間：私たちは、仕事と日常生活の両方において快適な空間を求めていました。大きな窓といくつかの天窓のおかげで、家全体に自然光が差し込み、明るい空間が広がっています。外との繋がりを感じられるだけでなく、光の変化によって日々違った表情を楽しめるのが非常に興味深いです。

機能的で考え抜かれたデザイン：TAIMATSUと一緒に仕事をする中で特に感謝しているのは、空間デザインにおける価値観を共有している点です。機能性を重視しており、例えばダイニングスペース下のアーチは、見た目だけでなく、より広々とした空間を作り出すための設計です。また、AQAAの床冷暖房システムは、私たちにとって最高の選択でした。快適な環境を整えてくれ、夏場は外に出たくないほどです！

コラボレーションと専門知識：不確実な点があった場合でも、TAIMATSUのチームは常にプロフェッショナルで経験豊富でした。素材の選定や組み合わせ、家具選びのためのショールームへの訪問など、デザインの決定プロセスをすべてサポートしてくれました。彼らのアプローチは「正解・不正解」ではなく、私たちにとっての「最適解」を見つけること。すべての段階で私たちが積極的に関与できたので、クライアントとエージェンシーという関係ではなく、真のコラボレーションプロジェクトと感じられました。

全体として、私たちは結果に非常に満足しており、日本で家を建てたい人にはTAIMATSUを強くお勧めします。細部にこだわりたい方にとっては、必要に応じて詳細にプロセスを説明してくれるでしょう。

改善提案としては、以下の点を挙げました：
プロジェクト全体で、より多くの3Dレンダリング画像を提案しました。これにより、空間の見た目や感覚をより理解しやすくなり、コミュニケーションも向上すると感じました。
外壁の最終的な仕上がりが当初の期待と少し異なりましたが、チームはそのフィードバックを真摯に受け止め、問題解決に向けて全力で取り組んでいます。』

 

“We were very lucky to find a very friendly team at TAIMATSU who helped us build our home in Japan. We are grateful to Mune and Shinpei for working with us through this wonderful process. When we started looking for an architect, the most important thing for us was that they shared the same vision as us and could communicate smoothly. Although we are not very good at Japanese, we were able to communicate well through English, and the TAIMATSU team made the process go smoothly. They paid attention to every detail and took us through the process step by step, so we had a clear vision of building our first home in Japan. Both of us work in the design and technology industry, so we have high standards and a clear vision for design.

What we particularly liked: Maximizing workspace and living space: Since we often work from home, we wanted to make the most of our space. As a result, we chose an open-plan design that seamlessly connects work and life. The spacious open kitchen is connected to the living and dining areas, making the whole house feel like one, and making every space easy to access.

Comfortable and light-filled space: We wanted a comfortable space for both work and daily life. Thanks to the large windows and several skylights, the whole house is filled with natural light, making it a bright space. Not only do we feel a connection with the outside, but it’s very interesting to enjoy the different expressions every day as the light changes.

Functional and well-thought-out design: What we particularly appreciate about working with TAIMATSU is that we share the same values ​​in spatial design. We place a high priority on functionality, for example, the arch under the dining space is designed not only for appearance but also to create a more spacious space. Also, the AQAA underfloor heating and cooling system was the best choice for us. It creates a comfortable environment, and in the summer we don’t even want to go outside!

Collaboration and expertise: Even when there were uncertainties, the TAIMATSU team was always professional and experienced. They supported us throughout the design decision-making process, including material selection and combinations, and visits to showrooms to select furniture. Their approach was not “right or wrong”, but to find the “best solution” for us. We were actively involved at every stage, so it felt like a true collaboration project, not a client-agency relationship.

Overall, we are very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend TAIMATSU to anyone looking to build a home in Japan. For those who are particular about details, they willing to explain the process in detail if needed.

Suggestions for improvement: We suggested more 3D rendering images throughout the project. We felt this would help us understand the look and feel of the space better and would also improve communication. While the final finish of the exterior walls was a bit different from our initial expectations, the team took the feedback seriously and worked hard to resolve the issue. “

このお家は仕事場としての役割も大きいのですが、大きな窓や大きな吹き抜けがあるので、ずっと室内で仕事をしていても全く閉塞感を感じなさそうですね。

屋上もあるので、気分転換をしたくなったら屋上に出るのもとても良い気分転換になりそうです。

このお家で日本での暮らしを楽しんでいただけるといいなと思います。
